I bought this drill from another retailer, and after using it for 2 weeks, the variable speed failed. It only worked at full speed. I took it back and got another one of the exact same model, 2 weeks later, same thing. The variable speed failed again.

If it only happened once, it might have been a fluke. But the exact same problem 2 times in a row means that it's inherent in all these drills.

Buyer beware.
