Tools and Hardware Reviews of Bosch PS20-2A 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Pocket Driver with 2 BatteriesCustomer Review: A Lady's Dream Tool - Get One Today! Summary: 5 Stars
Bought the Bosch PS20-2A 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Pocket Driver, for my GF, who always has a Home Improvement project, going on of one kind or another. We have 2 shops, with both basic and commercial construction tools, of every type. We have both electric and cord-less power tools, including a truck-load collection of screw drivers, drills & impact drivers, from B&D, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Rigid & Makita. My favorite driver is my 1/4" 18V XRP Impact Driver, which weighs about 12 lbs, w/battery pak, but is too heavy-handed for my GF to use on her projects; so I researched and found this Bosch and sooooo glad I did!
Pro's -
* Light weight, only about 2 or 3 lbs!
* Kit includes two (2) Lithium batteries that last a long time between charges for Medium to Heavy use.
* Order the Bosch Drill set, it includes many hard to find drill bit types and the are of very good Quality.
* Ergonomics - streamlined, smaller footprint than most 12-V drivers, One-Hand use is Great!
* 12-V Batteries - load from the bottom into the rubberized, non-slip handle & Charge quickly. Nice to include 2, Way Cool!
* Good Price Point
* Perfect for small hands - get one for your lady or teenager today!
* Best feature - You won't have to share your Man Tools anymore! Know what I mean,Vern?
Con's - Absolutely none to report at this time and we have had this tool for about one year of use now.
Customer Review: A True Maxi-driver ... Summary: 5 Stars
I had been looking for a strong and controllable driver for my many woodworking projects and general use. The Bosch PS20-2A more than fills the bill. It is powerful, but the variable torque settings keep you from over doing it. It came with 2 batteries (charge one while using the other - recharges in about 1/2 hr.) plus a basic array of bits in a functional carrying case. The Bosch PS20-2A is compact, solid and strong - now a favorite tool on my workbench.

Customer Review: A dandy impact driver Summary: 5 Stars
Having used my son's impact driver I decided I wanted one of my own. His was a full-size Milwaukee but I felt a smaller one would be most useful to me. After reading reviews I picked the 12-volt Bosch. It's a dandy tool that packs a punch in a small, very convenient package. It's a delight to use and I find I'm using it more than other driver drills I own, including a Festool. Suggest purchasers also buy a variety of impact driver bits from McFeeley's as ordinary bits will not last long with any impact driver.
Customer Review: A very good driver Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this driver a few weeks back specifically for tackling a flooring job I am doing. The driver is very compact and the lithium batteries are surprisingly small. I was a bit skeptical that this driver would have enough power do take on this job, but it generally is doing well. I am driving 2" coarse thread countersunk screws thru plywood underpayment into the sub floor located 10" apart on a large area. Most screws drive all the way flush with the surface without issue. Occasionally, one will not go flush, even with maximum direct drive torque...an 18V version likely would have taken these screws home without stopping. With two packs, I can almost continuously drive screws, although there are times where I have to wait a few minutes for the second pack to completely charge before swapping out, but not a major delay.
All in all, I am quite happy with the purchase due to the small, compact size and good power. A little more power and a slightly faster recharge time would have earned this driver 5 stars, but it is still a very good product.
Customer Review: Best I've ever owned Summary: 5 Stars
I have purchased at least 10 cordless screwdrivers over the years, and until recently my favorite was the DeWalt 7.2 volt model, but it uses NiCad batteries that go dead between uses and I've had to keep buying new batteries when they no longer accept a charge.
I bought the 10.8 volt version of this product about a year ago and fell in love. It has plenty of torque, the Lithium Ion batteries don't run down between uses, and I expect them to last a long time. The grip is very comfortable and not prone to pinching like the DeWalt.
When they introduced the 12 volt version I just had to have it.
I find it curious, though, that the charger that came with the 12 volt model says that it produces 10.8 volts. It appears to be identical to the charger that came with my 10.8 volt Bosch. I haven't figured out yet whether it truly charges the batteries to 12 volts or only to 10.8 volts.
One accessory I highly recommend is the Jack Rabbit Mag Ring (unfortunatley, not available from Amazon). It's a very strong magnet that slips over the shaft of 1/4" hex bits and holds screws much better than any magnetic bit holder I've seen.
