Just got the batteries charged and I can't be happier. This thing is Torky. I owned the little bro to the DCD 970 for about 10 years and I was amazed at it's ability to perform every job I attempted with it. Unfortunately it just started working intermittently. Something with the switch I'm thinking. I own and maintain numerous properties and cordless power is priceless. This tool seems much stronger and more versatile than the 10 year old I'm retiring. I'm hoping for the same longevity. Dewalt seems to be staying on top of the market.
