I have a couple of these holders and the two problems I had with them were: the tip would sometimes pull loose and the outer sleeve would side up over the tip. This holder doesn't have a sleeve and it does hold the tip tight. Now depending on the work that you are doing this is either good or bad. You just have to decide what is best for the work that you are doing. I just wished that DeWalt made a longer one.Customer Review: Good but not perfect

This holder is supposed to be very tight and use only small drywall screwgun bits that you need pliers to remove sometimes, but it is what it is designed for. Nothing more frustrating than a weak magnetic holder that has the bit coming out all the time especially on a large drywall job. Excellent on impact drivers too but it is not for tool free bit changes. You need to understand what you are buying.
