I am reviewing the KR Tools 11970 64-Piece X-TREME Drill and Bit Set Combo. Overall this is a good value, but there were several areas in which quality was sacrificed, probably in order to keep costs down.
The 64-piece set includes pretty much everything you might need for everyday projects.
Like most sets, there is some redundancy with regard to driver bits. I would have rather received some specialized driver bits instead of, for example, 10 #2 Phillips bits.
The Zirconium nitride bits penetrate well, but I can't verify the claim that they last 10 times longer than normal bits.
Some of the hex-shank bits wobbled and I`m not sure they were perfectly straight. The rapid change connector worked fine, although my drill has a much better one. The screw guide is useful.
Quality issues included the afore mentioned wobble of the hex-shank bits, difficulty returning drill bits to the case without cutting your fingers or breaking the plastic retainer clips, and a broken slide lock on one of the cases.
One other problem was that the red printed identification labels on the 20-piece Drill and Driver set had washed away due to the (excessive?) oil coating the bits.

I gave one of these to my brother and he loved all of the pieces and the three carrying cases included. The one downside he said was that it was a little difficult getting the bits back in the the holders. What can one say when you have a collection this extensive? Well wow comes to mind. There's a myriad of different drill, socket and screwdriver bits - so many that I haven't even begun to use the entire set yet. Each set of bits is packaged in its own sturdy box and the entire three box set arrives in near-presentation packaging.
Of course it's early days to remark on the quality and amount of work this set will live up, but given that I paid more for a single magnetic guide set than this entire collection costs - well needless to say I won't cry if a bit breaks at this price point.
If it only had a counter-sink bit this collection would be complete. Other than that I highly recommend the set for yourself or the handy-person in your life.

KR Tools 11970 64-Piece X-TREME Drill and Bit Set Combo
The tools are packaged in the dreaded heavy plastic clamshell. Once I got the clamshell open without cutting myself there are three tool boxes.
The tools come in three heavy-duty X-Treme cases. These are easy to open and close. One problem is the markings for the sizes are printed in red on a black background. Not very easy to see especially in low light. I had some difficulty with getting the tools back into the slots. Especially the drill bits. The plastic tabs are somewhat un-flexable. I can see them breaking after a time.
The sets include several duplicates of bits. Ten #2 Phillips bits are a bit much. I would have rather had Torx bits (which are not in the set).
The Magnetic Screw Guide jammed the first time I tried to use it. Now the sleeve will not slide, so it does not work as it was intended to. Poor quality.
