Hint: When a new power tool arrives and has extra electric motor brushes buyer beware. How many quality drills have you needed brushes replaced? I have had two harbor freight power tools that fried within 6 months; all were cheap made in China and had loud gear noise like this one does. I probably will not be able to use this enough to tell you how long it might last under normal conditions. I can't believe Kawasaki stuck its name on it.Customer Review: Refurbished equals Junk.

Refurbished equals Junk. I was sent a nonfunctional Kawasaki angle drill as refurbished. It clanks and rattles, but doesn't turn the chuck in either direction. It had not been cleaned and the cord junction was damaged. Someone either didn't do their job or pulled a fast one. This item is simply a useless lump of plastic and metal and not the "Works like new with slight cosmetic blemishes" as the seller Orbit advertised. I bought from the company with the lowest price and no rating. This was a mistake. I am annoyed at having to go through the inconvenience of returning this this useless junk tool which should have been tossed long before it was sent to me. I am glad to learn that Kawasaki motors is not affiliated with the producer of this tool. Even though Kawasaki tools may work fine I will not be buying any of them. This transaction has left me with a bad taste. I plan on buying a better known U.S. brand from a well rated seller and not a Chinese produced Japanese named tool from a not rated company.
On reflection I would recommend this approach to others.
