This is nothing more than a throwaway cheapo drill colored pink, which would be fine if it was priced accordingly. These are extremely common and the batteries are even often interchangeable between the various branded drills. For example: 18 Volt Cordless Drill Driver
The build quality may vary slightly and sometimes they come with different chargers but none of them are worth it if they are priced higher than the rest. They will fail just the same and lack power just the same. The biggest problem is the battery chargers killing the batteries. It's almost as if somewhere out there someone is selling a drill-maker-maker for dirt cheap. Ladies, if you're looking for a drill and don't mind a throwaway tool, do yourself a favor and buy one for half the cost and if you really need the pink color, just paint it or something. Gentlemen, if you're looking for a gift for your sweetie, she probably would like it. Still, your money would be better spent on a pink rechargeable screw driver, or a pink tool set. If you really want to get a drill and it has to be pink out of the box, then this drill is fine. In any other situation, I would say pass.
As far as the money donated to breast cancer research, just donate your savings from not buying this, a much more substantial donation.
