Tools and Hardware Reviews of Skil 2348-01 4.8-Volt Twist Screwdriver

Customer Review: Good things come in smalll packages
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great addition to my tools. It is light and compact, tuff with lots of power. The built in light and directional indicators are a great plus.
Only complaint is that there is nowhere to store the tips.

Customer Review: Handy Little Screwdriver
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this cordless screwdriver. I use it all the time. It is the perfect size. It's really good for lots of odds and ends around the house, like assembling furniture and especially good for tight places
because of it's compact size. Makes hanging curtains and blinds a breeze.
It's a really quick way to change batteries in toys too. Don't know what i did without this. The really great thing is that it can be used straight or twist to use at an angle. Overall good design. rp

Customer Review: I love this little screwdriver!
Summary: 5 Stars

Works great, holds a charge for a long time, has a little worklight built-in so you can see what you're doing! definately a good buy!

Customer Review: It's a toy
Summary: 1 Stars

Too weak, can't be used for heavy-duty work. Give me my 19 volt Dewalt Power driver anyday.

I consider this a kids toy.

Customer Review: Nice Tool for Small Jobs
Summary: 4 Stars

I use my rechargeable drill alot; however, it is large and difficult to get into small places. This little guy does the job. It is light weight and the handle is adjustable. You can use it like a "gun" or straighten the handle to where the handle is straight. It has a nice light at the end that can be used to see screws in dark places with out holding a flashlight. The charge seems to last quite awhile also. Plus, the unit is mall enough to fit in my pocket when I am going up into the attic. The only problem that I have had is the bits are difficult to pull out and change. Sometimes I have to pull it out with a pair of pliers (but I guess that is better than them being too loose and falling out.) Plus, it only comes with two tips, a regular screw driver and a small phillips. Would have been better if it came with a few different sizes of phillips heads, but these are easily attainable at the hardware store. All in all, a great unit for the price.
